He discovered Jean Claude van Damme and drove Jean Luc Godard crazy. He gave birth to modern Israeli cinema and threatened extras with a machine gun. He was „King of Cannes“ and „Emperor of Exploitation“.

For Menahem Golan cinema is a drug. Now, being 82, he’s not about to go cold turkey!
