Teaser for a feature documentary about legendary Hollywood producer Menahem Golan of Cannon Films, funded by the Austrian Government. Project is on hold.
To finance his first film, he sold his wife’s refrigerator. Later, he controlled Europe’s cinema distribution. He discovered Jean Claude van Damme and drove Jean Luc Godard crazy. He gave birth to modern Israeli cinema and threatened extras with a machine gun. He was „King of Cannes“ and „Emperor of Exploitation“.

For Menahem Golan cinema is a drug. Now, being 82, he’s not about to go cold turkey!
